Angus in Essa Township and Alliston in New Tecumseth have an unusual combination: substantial rental and high-turnover housing driven by CFB Borden and the Honda plant, set in the middle of working farmland.

Turnover and what moves with it

Bed bugs and cockroaches travel with people and furniture, and both areas have housing that changes hands frequently. Angus in particular, with the posting cycle at CFB Borden, sees more moves per year than a comparable community would.

Properties on the outer edges of both towns get the rural profile; properties in the older cores get the urban one.
